Let's talk about Louvre in France. It is called the royal palace or a fruit of VIII century. This fortress was founded by King Philippe Auguste at the end of the 12th c. to protect the western part of Paris. The present buildings are the work of 4 different centuries, but having a certain unity of style because of succesive architects, that adapted their style to the initial one by P. Lescot and J. Goujon. During the reign of Louis XV the "elite" decided to open a small museum at the Louvre. On the 10the 1793, the Grande Galerie presented a combination of paintings and ancient works. Nowadays the rich collection in the museum is divided into 6 sections: ancient Egyptian, ancient oriental, ancient Greek and Roman, paintings, sculpture and works of art. so, after a little bit of theory and history, let us now look some photos, which the boss at my work made. | | Posted by Julia at 3:12 AM -

One of my friends is fond of traveling, so, just like me. He was in much more countries than I did, but, he does not pay attention on the cores of the countries. I mean, for example, he visits Santorini, but he goes straight to the booked hotel, and almost doesn't go out of it. He says there, in the hotel, he finds everything he wants and he has no need to go elsewhere. I think it is quite a stupid idea, as Santorini is such a beautiful and unusual place...those volcanoes, and the sea, the natural combination... everything is unforgettable there. But HE has sticked himself in between 4 walls. So, the question is not in him, I would like to ask your advices, what is better - Santorini or Dubai? | | Posted by Julia at 2:31 AM -

I promised you to tell about Cyprus. Now I gathered all my and my friends photos and I am ready to show you Cyprus in all its beauty. Let's begin with an ordinary, but true phrase "Cyprus is a home away from home". On this island you'll never be bored and for the best feelings, I advise you to go straight to Ayia Napa. This town is considered to be a place for youth, as it has a lot of discoclubs and other places for fun. However, almost all clubs are an approximate copy for London clubs, still, all of them are cool. So, to take a visa there, you need a photo 3×4, passport and a form, filled in English. After completing these simplest requirements, you are stepping the nice island of Cyprus. Congratulations! As we had a hotel tour, I will show you 3 of them, telling its advantages or disadvtgs. The first is Grecian Sands Hotel , 4 stars. It is a standard hotel, having all necessary amenities, in fact, nothing to tell special about it. It's nice and comfortable, so see it below. The next is Tasia Maris Gardens Hotel , which has a great location. Some minutes from beach and the center. The greatest peculiarity is its pool. We organized competitions there. As you can see the pool on the photo, it is in a labyrinth form, what complicated our swim, making it more interesting in the same time. Yeh, great time it was The last hotel for today is Nissi Beach Hotel is the best from this 3 hotels. It is situated in front of a private beach, surrounded by gardens. It has many sport facilities, and a great pool! What I look first at a hotel - is a pool and gym. I don't need any more amenities from a hotel and this is my speciality. So, now photos. I think they will tell you more then I did.

Dubai is one of the largest and the most populous emirate of the UA Emirates. It is a very reach city, having one of highest skyscrapers in the world. Its revenues depend on tourism and oil. Dubai is very unusual and attractive for sport, conferences, Guinness records and of course innovative real estate projects.
I was in Dubai looong time ago, when I was so young, as I almost don't remember that days. I mean its beauty, constructions and the see. However, I remember the hotel, as we stayed there much time and the pool.
We were at Jumairah Beach Hotel .
As I see it now, it is not very much changed, everything remained almost the same. But I would not choose my next trip with the help of agencies, you know, maybe just in the last case, and the cheapest ones.
I prefer now to go by my own way. People, if somebody was there, please, advise how to reach there faster. Meanwhile, see some photos that my parents keep.
